Feeling groovy.

And there it was.. the last(official)summer weekend...its going to be a warm summerday weekend at the Hilltop. Not only the weather is wonderful but also there is a wonderful big Family gathering...I am looking forward to it..The 21st of September is certainly the first day of Autumn although in terms of meteorology it is the 1st of September!

You are so correct. In our little household of cold weather fans, we treat The End Of August as a family holiday!

Enjoy your last summer weekend!
I adore that open window photograph.

Hi Dutchess,
Oh, I can hardly wait for Fall to arrive! Chrysanthemums, pumpkins, and hopefully cooler temperatures.
Wishing you a "groovy" week-end.

Gorgeous picture and good for you with your family gathering. Have fun! Loved the bookroom in the monastery, too, because I am also a book lover!

Blessings and happy weekend,

I love autumn too but have just been watching a big flock of housemartins gathering together, my favourite visitors are getting ready to leave! :-(
