Yes, wit is a complete necessity. I can remember one of my closest friends in college telling me -- when I became engaged to my husband -- you will be laughing the rest of your life! For the most part, she was right. Wit and humor are things that still hold us together after 22 years!

Do you know, I often sing these original lyrics to my beautiful dog, Apple.... the sweet girl that she is! She gets so excited when I try to hit the high notes... but for her ears only!
