“When Christmas bells are swinging above the fields of snow, we hear sweet voices ringing from lands of long ago, and etched on vacant places are half-forgotten faces of friends we used to cherish, and loves we used to know.”
Ella Wheeler Wilcox (American poet and writer 1850-1919)

Oh it has been so long since I have visited! You have decoraed you "home" so beautifully for Christmas. It is a delight to the eye and to the ears. Thank YOU!!! Cathy
I like your taste in music, I do often leave your blog open so I can listen to it. The quote and the painting are both beautiful and go so well together.
I laughed at the picture in the last but one post, I feel a bit like that lady today!
What a lovely painting and the verse is wonderful - a perfect partnership:)
