A Nap..

A flock of sheep that leisurely pass by
One after one; the sound of rain, and bees
Murmuring; the fall of rivers, winds and seas,
Smooth fields, white sheets of water, and pure sky -
I've thought of all by turns, and still I lie
Sleepless...
~William Wordsworth, "To Sleep

Well..I have no trouble sleeping...I love sleeping...in winter I could go and hibernate..in Summer I can nap anywhere..in the garden..on the sofa..I just LOVE to sleep..

Painting `Girl sleeping at the table`by Vermeer.

Around 2 in the afternoon(it's too hot to be outside)it's the couch for an hours nap! At 9 in the evening it's the bed for a short read and 8 hours of beauty rest!
Insomnia is not a problem I've ever encountered! HA!

Oh Dutchess dear, I love Vermeer! I have never seen this lovely painting before, however. Sleep? A delicious thing and how nice that Mozes gets to hibernate with no care in the world!!! Bless you, Anita

Sleep is wonderful, no problems at all ;)
In my country, they call "sesta" when you sleep in the afternoon (specially children in grandma`s house when the parents are working). In Spain is "siesta", but there, adults sleep too in the afternoon, but I think it is a use in decline...
"Siesta" is very good to the health...here we can also do "sesta" because at 17h30 we are at home, so we can rest 60m and have our dinner at 19h...

Bless you,
Sandra
