October Party..

October gave a party;
The leaves by hundreds came -
The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples,
And leaves of every name.
The Sunshine spread a carpet,
And everything was grand,
Miss Weather led the dancing,
Professor Wind the band.
~George Cooper~

Its the last garden party to be held in the Hilltop Forest...its a farewell..a goodbye..a"see you in springtime"party..the fairies are leaving..traveling to a warm place in the sun...lets have a wonderful day today..get in a leaf fight and throw leaves at eachother....

Oh! You should have seen the leaf fight that the Tea Rat had with his friends in Nowhere and here....we had snow yesterday with the green leaves still on the trees! Our paths are covered with not quite spent green leaves. Even though the faeries are leaving, let's still have a party. Mozes just may wake up for a mug of hot cider...hum....I think I hear him ambling over to Nowhere right now with a cup and a good book. LET A NEW PARTY BEGIN! Anita

Oh my beloved Dutchess WELCOME HOME!!! I have missed you so very much! I pray you had a wonderful holiday. Maybe I will go to Portugal on my honeymoon....yes that is right....I have set my wedding date to dear Mickey. It will be a Halloween wedding. There is an invite on my Wednesdays post for you to collect and give to Miss Mousie and to the Tea Rat too. I do hope you will save that date for us to celebrate. It would not be the same without you there. I think so mof my friends might even be planning a Moonlight Ball at midnight to party on...and on...through the night.
Mommy went to Alaska last month and told me that she thinks she saw Mozes wandering around up there!!!
Love Miss Peach
