Owl

Owl

The diet of the owl is not
For delicate digestions.
He goes out on a limb to hoot
Unanswerable questions

And just because he winks like men
Who utter sage advice,
We think him full of wisdom when
He's only full of mice.

Oh dear, Miss M. must stay close to your dearest; I see you are holding that beautiful but deadly beast in your arms to help protect your darling little mouse and give her time to hide her pretty little head! Wonderful photo and poem! Anita

Owls are such wonderful creatures, aren't they? It is interesting taking apart an owl pellet and find the bones and skulls of little creatures - poor things!
