Another voice...

Times in the kitchen were never that busy as in the last couple of weeks....I wish you joy in preparing your New Years Dinner..I love big kitchens where everybody gathers and sits around the table...eating ,talking and enjoying each others company..Lets talk about our resolutions in the year to come...and together keep the faith..we will succeed...

For last year's words belong to last year's language
And next year's words await another voice.
And to make an end is to make a beginning.
~T.S. Eliot, "Little Gidding"

Ah yes, the kitchen is the hearth and the heart of the family unit! I have fond memories of Christmas and New Years in my Aunt and Uncle's kitchen, preparing our Mexican delicacies early in the morning, into the afternoon and then eating them late at night. Many a song, a dance and even an argument came out of those wonderful kitchen moments....I am making a blackberry pie and boeuf bourgignon!!! Red wine of course....have a fabulous day my dearest!

We share that love for the big table in the kitchen. I've been happiest at the one in my kitchen than I've been just about every other place else in the world.
Every happiness in the New Year Duchess, or rather 'your grace.'
Warmest regards,
Simone.
