A different tune

"In winter's cold and sparkling snow,
The garden in my mind does grow.
I look outside to blinding white,
And see my tulips blooming bright.
And over there a sweet carnation,
Softly scents my imagination.

On this cold and freezing day,
The Russian sage does gently sway,
And miniature roses perfume the air,
I can see them blooming there.
Though days are short, my vision's clear.
And through the snow, the buds appear.

In my mind, clematis climbs,
And morning glories do entwine.
Woodland phlox and scarlet pinks,
Replace the frost, if I just blink.
My inner eye sees past the snow.
And in my mind, my garden grows."
- Cheryl Magic-Lady, Winter Garden

The sun is shining on the Hilltop and the birds are singing a different tune...

Dearest,
I was just thinking of you today, wondering when you were coming home....I have missed you. Tea and Rattus report that all was well in Hilltop and no shenanigans!!!

SOOOOO HAPPY that you are home.

Oh my dear Dutchess,

I saw you visited Gigi at Tout ce qui brille! She is doing a Can Can just to celebrate your homecoming!!!

Come by later; I am doing a "Dutch Masters".....you are in it, of course! Oh, may I have permission to use a "standard" image from your blog? No artwork, but just maybe one of your beautiful photos that you often use on your posts? I will provide a link to your blog.

So, so happy you are home. I am well and excited because Ruben and I joined a writers' group here in our city! And you should see the Book Arts center on the first floor...wish you were here....
