Good morning dear Dutchess! This is a grand painting and a fun activity! Isee a young girl receiving a gift from a suitor and the father just read a love letter that came with the bonnet; the suitor is rich and the family is poor and they don't know what to make of this...the girl is admiring her new bonnet and is quite an independent young lady....oh my, I'm going to far! Thank you, this is great! I saw the most beautiful cardinal outside my window yesterday! He just stared at me; it is too bad I didn't have my camera close by.
