I always get my sin...

Writing my blog in english can sometimes create a language choas in my head...writing a story in english even more....BUT ITS FUN....mostly I just say it out of my head (Just speak at lib. Or: Just improvise)and this can bring me a whole end (I'm well on my way)so for today I will leave it by this(I’ll leave it at that) Wishing you a good day...have fun reading the poem!..

CHAOS

Dearest creature in creation
Studying English pronunciation,
I will teach you in my verse
Sounds like corpse, corps, horse, and worse.
I will keep you, Suzy, busy,
Make your head with heat grow dizzy.
Tear in eye, your dress you'll tear.
So shall I! Oh hear my prayer.
Just compare heart, beard, and heard,
Dies and diet, lord and word,
Sword and sward, retain and Britain.
(Mind the latter, how it's written.)
Now I surely will not plague you
With such words as plaque and ague.
But be careful how you speak:
Say break and steak, but bleak and streak;
Cloven, oven, how and low,
Script, receipt, show, poem, and toe.
Hear me say, devoid of trickery,
Daughter, laughter, and Terpsichore,
Typhoid, measles, topsails, aisles,
Exiles, similes, and reviles;
Scholar, vicar, and cigar,
Solar, mica, war and far;
One, anemone, Balmoral,
Kitchen, lichen, laundry, laurel;
Gertrude, German, wind and mind,
Scene, Melpomene, mankind.

Billet does not rhyme with ballet,
Bouquet, wallet, mallet, chalet.

You can find the rest here...

And please visit this wonderful blog...I always get my sin..

Good morning dearest...Oh, how I understand the dilemna, trying to TEACH math, astronomy, sciences, theatre, language arts, social studies, nutrition, HOW TO LIVE all in a language that I just barely learned when I was 34!!!! But BRAVO to you and to all of us courageous souls who want to COMMUNICATE and try it, succeed enough to communicate; hang proper proper pronunciation IF you can be understood! And your writing my dearest, is impressive. To think that you are not a native English speaker is miraculous. Your stories and words bring such joy, no matter what the language. CARRY ON, as Tea and Rattus would say! Bisous, Anita
