Boating...

Broad water-lilies lay tremulously,
And starry river-buds glimmered by,
And around them the soft stream did glide and dance
With a motion of sweet sound and radiance.

- Percy Bysshe Shelley, The Sensitive Plant

Would you like to go boating with me..I promise, its not far to Never-never land.....

Good morning sweet Dutchess,

Oh how graceful these lovely plants are that our little Gustave and his friends love to ride upon; quietly floating by and twirling about the water in gentle motion. We had bad thunderstorms last night with tornado warnings everywhere; here in the Twin Cities, a funnel cloud was spotted a couple miles from our house on one of the main boulevards we frequently use. Trees have come down and there have been some homes that were destroyed. This happens every summer, and can happen anywhere, but typically happens in the more open areas. Rare but not impossible, do the strong tornadoes touch down in Minneapolis, and about 20 years ago, someone on the next block of our neighborhood was killed when a tree feel on their house. Where Penny lives, it was about 114 degrees Farenheit yesterday! Oh dear, take care of yourself and I am thinking of your; enjoy each beautiful moment! How is the family? EXCITED I AM SURE!!!! Bisous, Anita

Ohh... I'd love boating this way! What a wonderful scene... It reminds me a certain scene from my favourite, polish movie...
I'm so happy to find your blog. :)
