Lets continue...and leave the cow poop incident behind us..:)
I believe this sweet little elf up in that tree is trying to tell us something....

It's the Journey that's Important...

Life, sometimes so wearying
Is worth its weight in gold
The experience of traveling
Lends a wisdom that is old
Beyond our 'living memory'
A softly spoken prayer:
"It's the journey that's important,
Not the getting there!"

Ins and outs and ups and downs
Life's road meanders aimlessly?
Or so it seems, but somehow
Leads us where we need to be,
And being simply human
We oft question and compare....
"Is the journey so important
Or the getting there?"

And thus it's always been
That question pondered down the ages
By simple men with simple ways
To wise and ancient sages....
How sweet then, quietly knowing
Reaching destination fair:
"It's the journey that's important,
Not the getting there!"

So true,isn't it....

So very true, indeed dearest. I have a quote by Albert Camus in my classroom in French that reads:

"La vie n'est pas une destination
La vie est un trajet.
Tant qu'on continuera ce trajet
On auras du succès."

Life is not a destination but a journey. As long as you stay on that journey, you will have success.

I have an old photograph of the various stages of the construction of the Eiffel Tower as well next to that quote. How true that we need to look at each stage of the journey to really get the lesson. Once we get to the destination, all that it took to get there must never be forgotten. Here's to a fine journey on YOUR road to each day of family, love, new beginnings (yipeee!) and new possibilities! Much affection, Anita
