Well, Dutchess, that is 'a bit of everything'' in the new year: partying and being ill. I hope you are feeling better now.
Oh, those poor Christmas trees - I hope it warmed up your house for quite a while with its presence. We took everything down today.
Very pretty picture in the forest of the tree, and beautiful reposing lady on the lovely painting.
Now, a little squirrel arrived in my letterbox! So cute!
'Dank je wel', dear Dutchess, and take it easy at the beginning of the year.

Dear Dutchess,
I am a great admiror of John Singer Sargent, and was browsing internet on his paintings yesterday. I thought: I have seen this on a blog!, and to be precise: the blog of the Dutchess when she was off colour! I loved the painting, but never read your comment at the moment.
It is funny, you made: John Sargent Singer out of him ... That is the music all around you that does it! ;-)) Happy weekend!
