The Bluebell woods...

Hidden in the bluebell woods,
underneath a tree
There’s a little Pixie shop
as jolly as can be.

Spangle dust and tinsel thread,
stuff for making spells,
everything a fairy needs
the Pixie shopman sells.

If only we were small enough
how pleasant it would be
to peek inside that little shop
underneath the tree.

Oh wat zou ik graag in the Bluebellwoods willen ronddwalen.
Heel voorzichtig zodat ik niets zou verstoren.
Fijne avond.
Liefs

Now I am beginning to understand the "boosheid " from many blogger-ladies about Blogger being out of order .....
I wrote you a comment and looking today I cannot find it ...gone ...disappeared ......
Now it is like having to write a letter all over again ....impossible .
So a new comment .
I wrote how I liked the poem and that I always learned my children in my class such beautiful poems ...in dutch of course they are 4 , 5 and 6 !
I love beautiful words and poems !
I have one , in dutch about autumn , must look for it but send it to you !
Have a wonderful weekend !

I have known this poem for over 55 years from a book I had as a little child. Do you happen to know which book it can be found in? I lost my copy many years ago. I only remember it had a green cover! Thank you

I taught my daughter this poem when she was three years old and we have always fondly remembered it. That was sixty two years ago.
