All things are glad..

Spring flew swiftly by, and summer came; and if the village had been beautiful at first, it was now in the full glow and luxuriance of its richness. The great trees, which had looked shrunken and bare in the earlier months, had now burst into strong life and health; and stretching forth their green arms over the thirsty ground, converted open and naked spots into choice nooks, where was a deep and pleasant shade from which to look upon the wide prospect, steeped in sunshine, which lay stretched out beyond. The earth had donned her mantle of brightest green; and shed her richest perfumes abroad. It was the prime and vigour of the year; all things were glad and flourishing.

~Charles Dickens, Oliver Twist

Good evening my dearest Dutchess,

Wonder abounds at the Hilltop and I wonder how all of you are. We have little foxes here in our allies and they often come to greet us to tell us it is summer. Indeed it is; the red cardinals are singing and the finches are dancing in our trees.

Sweet music and cheer are found here, at THE HILLTOP....BISOUS MA CHÈRE, Nita

Oh sweet one....so nice to see you this morning!

How is the Divine Miss M.? Has she appeared on your drawing paper lately? If not, I bet she is whispering and even SCREECHING in your ear for you to draw her! If she is squeeking, then I can imagine that Mozes is roaring to get out!

We so hope to see your magic soon...Nita
