That special child...

I'll bet this was you ..one day..long ago..a very special child...and because you were special..you became a very special teacher..who was able to find again, that very special child in your classroom..

Now..go on..class dismissed...

“Sometimes we need to hold our head high, blink back the tears , and just say Au revoir... You did a
great Job....!

Ohhhh! OHHHHHHH!!! (is this for me?) Oh how I would love to think so, but this is for all the teachers of the hour whose last days are NOW. MY LAST DAY (with the children) IS TODAY DEAREST! TODAY!!!!!!! I do go in on Thursday for some clerical work and on Friday to clean up the classroom....my first and ONLY classroom in my short career.

Wow. This is a perfect post. You have the ability to speak to EVERYONE en masse but to each individual CHILD. I was that child, and I still am....

Your magic never ends. Though I may not see you anymore on Nowhere, your fairy dust has lingered in my heart and has caused wings to grow. I will take this post in my heart with me today as I try to hold back the tears as I say AU REVOIR LES ENFANTS.......

Good morning you precious person, you.

Dearest, yesterday was so special. Each little bunny came up to me with a greeting, a tear in their eye, some with TONS OF TEARS, and many MERCIS.

Whew....what an emotional day. I will be going in today and tomorrow to clean up and prepare the classroom that I had for NINE YEARS for the next teacher that will take over my post. Oh if the walls of a classroom could speak, what lessons they would tell!!!

Have a magnificent day. Do stop by after Friday to see our Paris posts....Nita
