If you listen carefully..you can hear them grow...roots of spring...because they can;t wait to hear the birdies sing.


And soon they will be outside...for the first time.....

The birdies are singing in my garden.. Tiny little finches flit from branch to branch singing their songs..

Oh dear heart, we are thinking of the same things here. As I consider what I will write for my next blog post, I cannot help but think of roots. You are envisioning them singing, I am envisioning something else, but we BOTH know that roots are under the ground, though the are never seen. Zijn dit illustraties uit 'de wortelkinderen' van Freddie Langeler? Wij groeiden op met deze boekjes, zo tot de verbeelding sprekend. Er is een hele onderwereld en het is altijd verrassend als je gaat spitten wat te voorschijn komt.
