Like the hedgehogs in my garden I feel like I am waking up after a long winter..I know..its not over yet,but on the Hilltop we didn't even have a real winter (so far). No snow..no frozen pond..strange!
I believe the hedgehogs know best...They did came to my doorstep..and I am so happy with their first visit..
Now to wait for the rabbits and the frogs...I DID see A MOUSE...!!!

Like winter, I am here very late; I just woke up as well to a REAL winter on Rabbit Hill. But guess what I saw?I looked out my window to see a plump rabbit on her haunches, reaching for the green part of our evergreen shrubs. She turned around and sensed I was watching, then scampered off.
The other day while in my studio writing, I heard a "tap-tap" on my window. I turned around and there was none other than "HO CHUNK", our resident squirrel! He was tapping on my window for the second time!
No matter how cold, it is always spring at Rabbit Hill, and in my heart, especially when I visit you.

Hedgehogs to the door? Oh dear, how I miss this here!
A grey heron swooped by us on our walk with Mac the Corgi yesterday and Mallards rested by the pond...Robins are heard this morning and I AM READY FOR SPRING!!!

A hedgehog I have not yet discovered in my garden. In the early morning the birds sing so loud already ..... spring is coming! Today, the sun, the sky is blue with a few clouds, dance the mosquitoes and the temperature is at 10 degrees seems.
