Is that me and my zuster on Rabbit Hill, escorting the Easter Bunny? I think so....the lovely little blond is The Dutchess....the other girl, well, her hair has been kissed by the sun, but that's me. Oh mijn vriendin, thank you for coming to visit me in the midst of your busy preparations for the DAY! I am so happy to see you! Guess what! We just got back from a lovely 3 mile walk around the lake (I was holding on to Ruben for I am still dizzy). We saw the sunrise, we saw an eagle skimming the water over a blanket of beautiful fog...we saw ducks, we heard the song of the LOON and it was breathtaking. We read poetry, we read the scriptures in French and we prayed. It was fabulous.
The day is warm; spring has finally come to Rabbit Hill, and I am going outside to spend a few precious hours in the sun and look for robins. What a perfect Easter, because it proves that there IS hope that becomes reality.
