Questions..

I am blessed..On this(very) warm summer day I can go and sit under a tree and contemplate..
Life often is no picnic..and often there are to many questions with no answers...no matter how many books you read...Still...I am here..today....under this tree..listening to a little wren in my garden...and I am blessed..

....but...WHY..?
...............................................

Hope is a thing with feathers..
My heart, prayers and thoughts go out to the family and friends of the victims of flight MH017.

Mijn lieve vriendin,

Like you, I am blessed. I too sit in my garden with books and read to the song of a wren in my garden whose name is "Flor" because at first I thought she was a nightigale, hence the name "Florence." But so many questions do flood my heart at times, and this is one of them. I thought of you yesterday while listening to the news, hoping and praying there was no one on that plane you might know, but even if you didn't know them, it is a great loss to us all. But hope is that thing with feathers, and our little wrens remind us of that, don't they!

On another note, my European link party has begun. It is small tribute to.......you.

XOXOX

Un troglodyte (King of the winter) ! j'adore. Hello Dutchess,

This is such a tragic story. Why, why, why? Killing is so very senseless.

I hadn't been keeping up with the news this last week (no tele to watch) so this is the first I have heard of this. Life is precious and this is a reminder of just how very fragile it is.

Anita, has told me of your correspondence with her. It is lovely for her to have found such a kindred spirit.

Thoughts and prayers from us too, dear Dutchess...
It felt rather strange putting up the party post in light of this very sad event...

Thank you so much for vising me. And those blue flowers are from our dear Anita... :)
I hope very much that you two will meet in person one day. Yes indeed. :)
Blessings,
