Little buggers...

They crawl out from warm mulch,  just after snow,

     In hidings from tunnels row after row;

       They rest among dew drops and fly out to bring

          Their red spots of colors to gardens of spring.

Ach, wat zijn ze toch allerliefst, die Wortelkindertjes.
Ik heb het boek en koester het, lees het voor, nu aan mijn kleinkinderen.
Prachtig.
Fijne dag, lieve groetjes,

Jeanneke.

Good morning dearest sister!

I am late - I was underground with these little bugs, enjoying the WARMTH of the earth! I CAN'T BELIEVE how the freeze is hanging on here in our part of the world....I am right now wearing my parka as I type!

A German blogger pal just emailed me to say spring is starting to appear in her part of the world too! Oh how lucky you are...keep watch with the critters dearest, report what you see, it makes me HAPPY!

Those little buggers...tell them to come over to Minneapolis and help warm up the ground so we can get spring started here!

Wishing you a happy and adventurous Friday....like Eva and Rose! :))))
