A quiet Stroll.

“[Walking] is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside.”

And this is why Ruben and I, for the last 33 years, have walked and walked everywhere. In the USA, in France and Italy, Boston, L.A. and Minneapolis. We must have walked thousands of miles and hours together, finding everything from wild turkeys (they are back in our city!), bunnies, mice who needed rescueing, eagles, and each others' minds. Walking, strolling, FLÂNER, BALADER....this is the way to go! Enjoy your stroll today dearest zuster! ♥

Must take more strolls ...one of the many reasons I'm in love with the sea ...presents its propositions in most alluring ways. Sure, it uses all kinds of treasures to entice me, but I stroll ...and I nap ...and I hear my heart ...and I live.
Your posts ALWAYS speak to me so clearly, friend. Thank you.

Dear Dutchess,
Yes, walking is good for the soul.
You never know what may catch your eye while out for a walk.
Zoe just prances when we walk. Jasper sniffs EVERYTHING! I often wonder what they are thinking when we are out walking.

Thank you so much for relaxing on the porch with me. Yes, that is my favorite rose... The scent is heavenly, and it must have over a 80 petals per rose.. Just beautiful.
Give Miss Moussie a big hug from Bebe

Penny and Bebe
