Take Five..

When I was young..On hot summer-days like the ones we are having now..you could find me in a comfy chair..INSIDE the house..

I don't like the heat.. and to tell you the truth I'm not a fan of summer..but summer reading that's another thing..

Thank you Enid for the memories..

And "thank you" dearest Dutchess, for you have introduced so many worlds to me.

You are I are so alike in so many ways. Now, I prefer the color months but having grown up in sunny, hot California, I grew accustomed to being outside most of my childhood where my imagination had to begin inside my head; I didn't have the luxury of books in my home since my mother could not read. However.....through the years, and especially via blogging, a very few lot of women, YOU and Penny being the main ones, have taught me to sit quietly more, read with not just my mind, but with my imagination.

Thank YOU, Dutchess, for the memories.

Same here Dutchess, about the heat, though I much prefer summer to winter.

Loved your post today, Dutchess! I will soon be opening a used book shop in my hometown of Amherst, Ohio. Your post today was PERFECT!
