Brighter days..

“Was it the case that colours dimmed as the eye grew elderly? Or was it rather that in youth your excitement about the world transferred itself onto everything you saw and made it brighter?”

Dearest one, hallo!

I'm a day late, but I guess it's because the mornings are when I do my blog visits, and I have to leave so early for work. But when I come here to your space, time is of no importance because your posts are timeless. Youth, dimness of color.....how I'm experiencing all of that right now. Aging brings on a different LENS from which you perceive light, both literally, and figuratively. I am growing young. I AM! But my eyes are growing old, not allowing as much light to come in. But you know what? I believe we all have a certain "sun" within us that even though we may no longer be able to perceive the outside light as vividly, we can EMIT an even brighter light from within. Either way, we remain bright no matter what age.
