Fairies absolutely ADORE Dragonflies so please do not tell about this recipe....

Liverpool museums - Dragonfly stew recipe at World Museum Liverpool: "Ingredients
6 shallots, sliced
1 tablespoon coconut oil
2 cloves garlic, sliced
75g ginger root
1 fresh chilli pepper, diced
330g dragonflies, wings removed
½ litre coconut milk
Preparation
Brown the shallots in the oil and add the garlic and ginger. Mix in the chilli and dragonflies then stir-fry for about 10 minutes. Once the dragonflies are browned add the coconut milk and simmer for 5 minutes.".....Do Not Try this athome!


La Libellule...The Dragonfly,by Gustave Moreau,was one of the sources of inspiration for the caracter of Tinkerbell.

No wonder the dragonflies don't hang around in my garden for very long! Great recipe, must have quite a crunch! x
