And we will play..

Come said the wind to
the leaves one day,
Come o're the meadows
and we will play.
Put on your dresses
scarlet and gold,
For summer is gone
and the days grow cold."

Brrr... we went for a walk to our local park yesterday and many trees are shedding their leaves already - they were blowing across our path in just such a way:)

Oh, they look like I feel. If only we had some wind today. Very still, very muggy. It will blow away soon I hope!

I love this poem and the illustration! Pure autumn!
