I loved every one of the old programmes you mention. Fantastic picture, it reminded me of another old series White Horses, how I loved that one and the other eastern european fairy stories like The Singing Ringing Tree.

Oh yes I remember the Singing Ringing tree very well and The Tinder Box too. I believe they are considered cult classics now!
You can buy the DVDs on Amazon, they were very expensive at first but have become more reasonable now, one day I will treat myself and have a good wallow in nostalgia! I believe they are considered too menacing for todays children!
I went into a nearby town recently, to find a new shop opened called ...The Singing Ringing Tree and I chatted to the lady owner about the stories which is why they have been my mind. Hope you can get them on Duchess telly, I could never find a clip but there are a few websites with the stories and photos.
The Avengers with Mrs Peel, Danger Man, The Untouchables, the list goes on...
