To chase the cold away...

King winter rules on the Hilltop..

And when it snows..nature listens..Did you ever listen to the sound of snow..
I do believe this winter was more winter than we could handle...it would be lovely to welcome Spring...For some of us this winter was a bit to much of a good thing..

Sometimes we had to be very creative going shopping,or to get to work..when the car didn't start...the roads were like ice..or ,when we even couldn't find a road at all...Lucky for me there was always a little dwarf to go to the nearest grocery..

I believe Spring isn't coming any time soon, so..nothing better to keep you warm in this month of Valentine..then hugs and kisses from you loved one...a very nice way to make it trough the last winterdays...

And to keep the chill away....a little glass of Madeira..my dear...

I am leaving for a short periode to a warmer climate....to defrost...And I hope when I get back..the sun will be warm enough to chase the cold away..

But this could very well be idle hope because..when my youngest daughter was born end of February..now 22 years ago we had an Elfstedentocht..(please click if you never heard of this very famous Dutch phenomenon.)

Before I go I would like to say to all of you...STAY WARM..and STAY HAPPY....Be safe out there...I hope to be back and catch up with you soon..

And now ..if you will excuse me ...My Diligence is waiting.....
Until we meet again....

Ma belle Duchess,

I am so glad that you were able to sneak in to my Valentine's post....you see us? We are two crazy, young at heart lovers who never want to "grow up"...we want to be in "nowhere" forever with the likes of friends like you.

Bisous et bon voyage...
