Skating..on the dutch canals....could this be history..
We did have a lot of ice surprises..-like yesterday when we got stuck on the highway because of an ice storm-
we ..together with hundreds of automobiles..performed a lovey Ice ballet..
It was a wild slide..and some vehicles were lost...but we arrived safe and sound..

OH DUTCHESS! ARE YOU OK? I know this ballet well; we often perform it when the snow starts to fall, or when it's been very cold, and the roads become icy due to the exhaust from the cars! I remember seeing how people would skate on the Dutch canals....what fun! But "skating" on ice in a car is very scary. BE SAFE my sister! Thinking of you!

Be ever so careful on the ice, dear friend. I would have no idea how to drive in the snow, much less over ICE... So glad to hear you are safe.
