Once upon a time....a long long time ago, this day had the distinctive qualities of a particular type of day ...like a typical dutch day in a Dutch winter..But now...I wonder if we will be able to skeat the canals in the future like we did before..?!

Oh dearest Dutchess, good morning! Are the canals not frozen over like they used to be? Climate change has altered the scenery, hasn't it! We have only been in Minnesota for 23 years and we have already seen a slight warmth that has changed how long the cold lasts. Oh what a fun video!
I love the video, friend D:) It reminds me of my childhood. Only we used Rubber boots or Klompen for "skating" as we could not afford skates. Lots of opportunity now though here in Winterland:) Love, cat.
